Moonfleet Angling, Makers of Fully Customisable and Adjustable End Tackle Moonfleet Angling: Coaching All Qualified angling coaches can be relied upon to provide comprehensive coaching for all ages and abilities. Some coaches also specialise. You can be assured that comprehensive training is undertaken by all 1st4Sport coaches.
All Coaches will practise staged learning. Planned sessions are designed to enable you to learn at your pace and in your own time, away from your coach. Angling Coaches do not simply teach you how to cast; they will take you through the whole range of skills involved in angling, from the most basic to advanced methods relating to specific species and venues. Coaches: Ian Houlton - has reached level 2 1st4Sport Coach (Sea angling) He has further enhanced training with Visual Impairment, disability awareness. While working with anglers of all ages and ability’s, Ian has formed programmes that allow visually impaired “Novice” anglers to take up the sport fully independently resulting in the ability to function totally without the need of a coach. He will also be working alongside Casting coach Colin Olver to provide incite into rig use, angling techniques and Casting tuition on the beaches of Dorset and Somerset. Colin Olver
- Sea Angler Magazine Casting Instructor teaches OTG and Pendulum Casting. He likes to help anglers from total beginners to the more experienced angler, giving encouragement to repeat the experience if necessary. He prefers to have a teaching session, followed by a fishing session and will be happy to explain various rigs, knots and general safety aspects of fishing i.e. the necessity of shock leaders. There is no charge for his service however a donation of bait would be appreciated.
